Jersey City has more natural areas and wildlife than one might think. Within that we have an incredible expanding group of beekeepers!

I was lucky enough to meet a local group and get a local tour of one of their apiaries. The hives are truly fascinating.

Natural by products of this work are raw honey and beeswax. We found a way to integrate these very local ingredients into our Honey, Beeswax and Oatmeal Soap. 

It's a nurturing, moisturizimg bar that helps soften skin with oatmeal (gentle exfoliant) and beeswax provides a protective barrier to help keep moisture in.
